The company “Tahko-Tours” was established in 2002. The company is located in Nilsiä/ Tahkovuori, address Hirsivalkamantie 1, 73310 Tahkovuori, tel: +358 400 244 133.

The company’s main activity is the organization of tourist services on the territory of Finland. In 2005-2007 a premium class resort village “Lakeford” was built on the bank of the picturesque lake Syväri. All the houses are incredibly well-adopted to the landscape. Leading Finnish and well-known Russian designers and architects were involved in the construction and development of the resort village. All the houses are built in similar style and they represent a unique design complex. All the interior furnishing were made using ecologically clean and wear-proof materials. The cottages are equipped with exclusive furniture and inbuilt household appliances with English bathroom and lavatory fitments. All cottages have elements of hand-painted interior decor and paintings. The basements of the houses are finished with decorative natural stone. There are four types of cottages: VIP, Lux, Superior, Townhouse (apartments). All the houses are equipped with sauna, heated floors, Wi-Fi Internet, satellite TV and fire alarm system. The other buildings located on the territory of the resort village include a reception building.

We also arrange activities to clients who want those. Riding on motor boats, fishing, skiing and skating – all these is just a part of leisure activities that we provide to our customers.

Every year on the territory of Lakeford a big skating-rink is prepared for the children. The New Year’s celebration is accompanied by music program,  buffet and traditional fireworks.

Our future plans include the construction of a restaurant and an Orthodox Church.
