Resort village Lakeford

The resort village was finished in 2007. The village consists of 16 separated high-quality cottages (VIP, SUPERIOR, LUX), 10 townhouse apartments, VIP-sauna and reception building which includes a little cosy café.

You can arrive to Lakeford easily with your own car - we are situated almost in the middle of Finland. If you prefer arriving with train or aeroplane, we are pleased to arrenge you transportation from Kuopio to Lakeford.

The cottages in Lakeford are built of real wood. They include all you need to have for comfortable and luxurious holiday. Every house has a full equipment kitchen, audio- and video systems. Lakeford is a mix of classic and contemporary styles. The Finnish building tradition has been respected in the construction of the buildings.

Lakeford has five types of accommodation:

VIP-cottages: Two separated two-storey cottages. These cottages are very high-quality. 120m²/cottage.

Superior-cottages: Two separated three-storey cottages. These cottages are high-quality. 160m²/cottage.

Lux-cottage: Ten separated two-storey cottages. These cottages are high quality. 100m²/cottage.

Townhouse apartments: Two townhouses which both consists of five apartments (total 10 apartments). Apartments are good quality. 60m²/apartment.


VIP-sauna: Situated on the lakeside. The sauna includes traditional sauna stove and shower with bathtub. There is also cosy room with fireplace and a small terrace. 54,8m². You can rent VIP-sauna from the reception!
